I applaud Microsoft for this. I think a game console is a great target for a narrow focused show. I expect one or more of these will do well.
This is a nice explanation of why creators don’t make much on creator-owned comics. Like a post I linked earlier this year from Mark Waid, it makes a compelling case that print is not worth the effort. Granted, that’s not what Jim Zub is arguing here, but I’d love to see someone write about what the numbers look like for digital comics, even when sold through something like Comixology, which would be similar to the Diamond relationship in this post.
