I would like to point out that it's developer freedom that's the real issue here. On iPad you have to go through the App Store to get apps, which is not true for the Mac. Sketch is only offered for trial via direct download. I wonder if this is something Apple will ever relent on as they try to make iPad a more computer-like device?
