Defensive tackle Nosa Eguae, who played his final game at Auburn in Monday night’s BCS Championship Game, has written what he terms an open letter to the Auburn family.
Final Auburn link of the day. College football is different from pro ball for this reason.
This is such a well written piece with Auburn on the day of the National Title game. I have such respect for Coach Gus Malzahn.
What a fantastic piece of sports writing from Kevin Van Valkenburg on ESPN.com. There’s so much about Malzahn that I respect, beyond the success he’s brought to Auburn. A genuine man of faith, both spiritually and practically, showing what’s important to him by consistent, disciplined routine.
Monday night my alma mater, Auburn, plays for the college football national title. What a great way to start the new year. I can't wait for the game, and I really enjoy this writer's take on the Tigers. He always adds a nice human element to his work that other sports pieces often lack.
This is a big week for me and my state. If you’ve never lived in Alabama, you just can’t understand how big a game this football game is under normal circumstances. Given what’s on the line this year, it’s an amazing week to be an Alabamian.
Oh, and…. War Eagle!
Went to Winfield. Got a new guitar. (at Winfield)
Nice looking guitar. And hat!
What a great finish to this game yesterday. I had to quit watching at one point, but it was nice to see a bit of old 2010 magic back in the last couple minutes.
Look who’s number 1 on this list of the best colleges for football tailgating.
War Eagle @LeoDiCaprio.
