This piece cites “Silicon Valley” as the ultimate ageist, and I guess it’s more obvious in tech. This is a general problem in our culture today, though, that youth is see as the pinnacle of life. There’s this belief that we have less capacity for greatness as we age. I find the opposite to be true in my life. I have more energy now then when I was 20. I know what I want in life. I’m more focused, happier, healthier, and producing better code, better writing, better music, and more.
